One of the most beautiful pieces of writing about nature, humanity’s place in the ecosystem, and what we need to do to move forward in harmony with our planet and each other, it is the kind of book that changes how you see the world in the best way possible. I hadn't even finished listening to my copy from the library before I bought a print copy to read over again with a pencil in hand for taking notes, but the narration is so well done and gave me a sense of the indigenous languages used in the text that I would have missed by just reading. Absolutely incredible.
