Not the worst classic I have read but also not the most enjoyable either. The book had parts that were heavily redundant and unnecessary. The first third of the book did not need to take up that much of the book… The plague doesn’t even actually take a center role in the story until 60-70% in. Great idea, but execution just alright. The second half of the book where the plague took place was really interesting and I did enjoy seeing the role each character played in the plague as a whole.
