This is my first read of Lia Huni's work and I thought it was great! A small village community and not with just sugar sweet personalities either. The village grapevine works well, the shared town history and the reputations that people can't seem to shake. In comes the newcomer who manages to put a few people offside just by existing as some people are very reluctant for change to happen.

It was a glimpse into just how some school systems and small communities work while based around a blossoming romance. This is the first of a series that I would be keen to continue. Thanks to Lia Huni and IPH Media for allowing me a copy to read.
