Bunny Season by Bindi Kennedy

5.0

Oh my gosh, this book was so so great! Noah and Lotte are absolutely adorable and oh-so-sweet to each other. I loved seeing them together. Their quick and close bond was so clear and beautiful to see. Their flirting definitely made me blush a few times.

I have to compliment Bindi on how truly realistic her dialogue felt. The whole time it felt like I was witnessing real conversations between dynamic and varied individuals. All of the hockey chirps and adorable moments helped a lot too.

This one made me laugh out loud so many times. It was funny from the first page. I was constantly telling my partner about the funny moments because I couldn't keep my amusement to myself.

There were a lot of fun and clever references throughout the book. It was like a fun easter egg hunt while reading.

There was the perfect blend of including hockey in an informed and purposeful way without including it too much for anyone who may not know as much about the sport. The reader can learn along with Lotte about the fun involved in the hockey world.

This book does contain a number of spicy scenes. If spice is not your thing, I do not recommend this book. That said, the spicy scenes truly contributed to the plot and character development. More than I've ever seen in a book before. Their sensuality and care towards each other during intimate moments felt legitimate.

This wholeheartedly deserves my first 5-star of the year, even though I was in a slump while reading it so it took me ages to finish, I adored every moment! If you love romances that will make you blush and laugh, this is the perfect book for you.

I received this book as part of Bindi's team. My review is honest and voluntary.
