I know people give this book bad reviews for some writing errors or facts about almost all MMCs being military or military affiliated. There are some towns where there is a heavier percentage of military men. So while this might not be accurate for everywhere around the US, I'm sure there is a town that fits the bill. I was recommended this through r/preppers. So this being a conservatively written book was kind of a given for me. I love apocalypse books and I think there is a lot to learn from this novel.
