Spanish Siesta by C.F. White
4.0
My first CF White novel was an interesting read. Quite angsty, and a long, slow, and tense build-up to their relationship.
They've been best friends forever and Kieran has been pinning for Matt since the beginning. When they end up sharing a bed in Spain where Matt’s sister is getting married, Matt starts to question his feelings for Kieran and why he’s always jealous of the men that show interest in him.
Struggling to communicate how they feel, things go off the rail. Kieran struggles with his years of pinning. Matt has never considered himself anything but straight, he’s also a people pleaser, stuck at a week-long event feeling torn between keeping all members of his family, and his best friend happy. It’s a powder keg of emotion.
Their ending is sweet and lovely though.
