I have only read a few one night stand books, but I liked the spin that Chelle put on this one. Not only was it a one night stand but now the MC is the FMC's client for work. Plot twist. This was a very enjoyable read for me. I liked the dynamic between Logan (MC) and Maeve (FMC). I liked how she was kind of a grump but around him she felt different. He helped calm her vibes and center her. I loved how strong Maeve was. She is superwoman- running her own business while being a single mom *check.* The chemistry between these two was wonderful. I like it when authors give you a glimpse of the characters together and then say nevermine- we're going to reel that back a bit! It added a playfulness to the book that I enjoyed. I liked the Logan was all in and was just waiting for Maeve to catch up. I also liked the added layer of a marriage of convenience because when the man says my wife- YUM!

Maeve likes being in control. She likes timelines and schedules. What she doesn't like are when things go unplanned. Like her plane being delayed. Like not being able to get a hotel room. But she isn't minding this hot man speaking to her at the bar with an English accent. She in fact minds it so little that she throws out all of her rules about men and gives in for the night. It's one night. It's amazing. But in the morning he leaves. She will never see him again. Until she does. On the plane and then as her new client. The client that could literally put her on the map and expand her dreams for her business. But there has to be a line drawn. They are a client and the employer. That is all. But then why can she not stop thinking about him? And why is it when life throws her a curveball she goes to him for a solution. And what a solution it is. She is now Mrs. Logan Matthews. Her and her son Jayce are moving in with him. She is living with a billionaire who is making her want to throw out all of her rules of client and employer. So she does. She goes for it. She doesn't want to have regrets. But then her past comes back to haunt her and she thinks the worst might be about to happen. She hopes that Logan will be there to catch her if she falls.

Logan is having "writer's block." He hasn't got a new game idea to save his life. Which is why his best friend and PR rep have been setting him up with fake dates for months. But now he is at a bar with a beautiful woman at his side. And can't help but feel this REAL connection between them. He pursues her and has the best night he has had in a long time. But then reality comes back in. She is gone. But fate seems to be on his side because not only is she on the plane next to him, she is also the interior designer that he wants to hire for his new house. He can't stop thinking about her and what they shared. It comes as no surprise though when lines are drawn. No funny business. Only work. That's fine- he is in it for the long haul. So when she needs help with the unexpected- her proposes. He drops everything to help her. He wants her to see how much she means to him and that he would do anything for her. He knows what he wants for the future- he just needs her to catch up. But then her past comes back to bite them. And he has this feeling that he will do literally anything to make her not hurt. Because even though this relationship started off fake- it is anything but now.

I liked the banter between these two. This is random but I liked the chapter titles- the rules of love. This was just an overall easy read for me! I would definitely recommend it and am intrigued enough to read the first book and future books.

Thank you to Valentine PR and Chelle for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review!
