Tropes: hate to friends to lovers, brother's best friend, grumpy and sunshine, interracial couple, hint of one bed

I really enjoyed this book. The romance, the characters, the plot.... but wow some plot twists I did not see coming. It was pretty good overall, I just got some red flag throughout the story. The whole "you're mine and no one can touch you or talk to you" was a bit too much. Especially in the end (with all the stalker vibes).
Also the change in the pacing from the first half to the second was really drastic. The first half was all sunshine and rainbows and the second half was just trauma and death. Besides we lost so much of the romance that was told and not shown.
