War Bound by Tara Grayce
5.0
- I cried so much during this book, it was so sad
- I love the fact that she made a double POV so we could see things from both the characters perspective
- I really like how she made her writing humorous, no matter what happened and no matter how dark things got
- Ferrendal’s relationship with her family was so sweet because he never really had the chance to get that with his actual family
- I really really loved how they pulled exposition into the story and how Ferrendal adapted to some aspects of the human culture, but simply could not do with the rest Even though he tried very hard, which was so sweet of him
- He really tried for Essie, and that just makes me want to burst with joy because I genuinely love when the people reciprocate the energy their partner brings to a relationship
- Essie’s brothers were so sweet with him and so kind and honestly, I kind of ship Edmond and Jalissa because why not
- I loved the way that they got introduced and the way that they got accustomed to different culture because it was so relatable even in real life
- I almost burst into tears when Ferrendal realized that he had the opportunity to actually have a mother
- Tara really showed both the character strength and vulnerability in this and that made me sob a bit
- I am so upset with Melantha and I really didn’t understand if I was gonna manage to forgive her because I know that there’s gonna be a book starring her
- It’s so realistic and genuinely upsetting that she feels this way, and the fact that Ferrendal has to hear something like this from his own family, especially from someone he thought a mother figure
