This book had me crying at page 1. If you haven’t read the books prior to this one I highly suggest you do so you can understand what happened to Lennox and what he is going through.

My heart absolutely broke for Lennox. To see what he endured in the previous books and to understand where his mindset is at in his own book was so heartbreaking. Lennox wanted to look strong to those on the outside but also shut himself off from the world so that he could just push through the pain on his own terms. It took Roxie and her daughter Ivy entering Lennox’s life to help heal him.

This was a beautiful story about strength and healing. Ivy and Roxie helped Lennox to heal in ways he wasn’t expecting. Lennox felt he was so unworthy of the love Ivy and Roxie showed to him. I loved how Roxie was determined to bring Lennox out of those thoughts and show him that he is worthy of everything he wants.

The moments between Lennox and Ivy were so cute! I loved him reading to her every night. It was something that they both needed and didn’t realize they needed it. I also adored the spaghetti dinners and Lennox and Ivy cooking together. The family dinners with them including Roxie and Ivy was so perfect.

This was a perfect conclusion story for Lennox and watching him slowly heal and open up to Roxie and Ivy was just perfection.

I highly suggest this series if you love the found family, large family, forced proximity and single mom tropes.

Thank you to the author and the Author Agency for the arc of this book.
