Easy Nights by Kristen Proby

2.0

I was expecting so much more from this book. The 6th installment in the Boudreaux series follows the last Savannah Boudreaux get her chance at a happy ending. Throughout the series we get glimpses of her life and by all accounts, things seem to be hunky dory. Until they weren't. Sensitive issues were dealt with in this book, which were heartbreaking but empowering. Savannah has always had a thing for her brothers best friend, Ben Preston. But timing and fate is not on their side. After the horrific things that happened to Savannah, Ben decides he is going for what he wants and what he wants is Savannah.

I didn't like the writing and tone of the characters, especially Savannah. She was like a yo-yo, back and forth, back and forth. She was also contradictory and annoying at times. Things also moved very quickly and I felt there were times when I was missing pieces of the puzzle. Like Ben's Mom and her whole situation. Still not sure how that fits in to anything.

What started off on a high note and enjoyable series, ended with me feeling lackluster and disappointed.
