I don't have children of my own so this book may not have been especially aimed at me (my partner has children that I see about once a month). I think the "everyone is good inside" framing is really useful and helpful beyond interaction with children. 

I found it interesting and informative, but the really emotional affect the reader used was off putting to me personally.
