I adore this book. Valancy is a captivating heroine - so different from Anne or Emily, but no less lovable - and her story is unique and hilarious. Montgomery's signature wit and love of nature shine through on every page.

Recommended for pretty much everybody. Content: mild language, a few tense scenes, family strife, romance (kissing; a couple gets married).
