First things first, while this isn't overall a dark book, it does deal with serious topics that could trigger people, please mind the warnings on the starting pages of the book! I'm always glad when they get clearly provided like that :)

What I loved most about this book was the feeling and atmospere it gave when Kat is walking in nature, it made me want to get out and walk in nature too ^^ I also think it dealt with grieve in a good/realistic/nice way, it worked for me, and I loved Florrie and the stories.
The romance didn't always work for me, it felt rather fast at times (which is more a personal preference thing again, it just doesn't work like that for me) and
the way Kat left Anne without any contact after she almost died from medical complications, all because of assumed infidelity that could have easily been cleared up? And even if it had been real, personally I feel that leaving someone like that, no matter your own trauma or hurt, is just not ok. It made the rest of the book less enjoyable for me, though I was glad Kat did see how she went wrong later.

Overall I do recommend this book, as long as you keep in mind the warnings :D
