Foster by Claire Keegan
4.0
I tend to not love short stories and novellas since I never truly connect with the characters. This was unfortunately no exception.
However this book still gets a razer high rating from me. Claire Keegan paints a vivid scene with little words. This novella therefore felt quiet, yet powerful at the same time.
It truly is a character study and very much literary fiction. I would recommend it to everyone who tends to enjoy those aspects in a story.
