This is a tale about love and the things it dies to us at a young age. It is about lust and fear. It’s about being queer in a society that doesn’t want queer people to exist. I loved this books with all my heart. It was simplistic and beautiful. Yet it carried a weight so few books can. With beautiful writing and a stunning story line, we are taught what it’s like to live and love as a teenager hiding from the truth.
