This was an interesting read. It’s online friends, to friends, to lovers. So this is different In the sense that Landon and Skylar meet in a gaming chat and not on a dating app. So it’s not a hookup to lovers type thing which was nice.
Landon is in the NHL and Skylar is a nurse. They meet in a game chat group and hit it off immediately. Landon however doesn’t tell Sky the he plays for the NHL and it ends up being a surprise when they finally meet in person.
I really enjoyed the chemistry between the two. Skylar is a free spirit and Landon is more reserved. Opposite in a lot of ways but they compliment each other.
The story overall is based around their building friendship and then relationship. Towards the end It also focuses on grief and how we handle it.
Overall I enjoyed the story. I am hoping to see Luc and Cayden together.
