Finding Fraser by K.C. Dyer

Did not finish book.
The premise was exciting and it's what drew me to the book but I found it terribly lacking. I love Outlander but this was a big miss. Jaime Fraser is more than just a large, red-headed Scot in a kilt. Outlander fans, stay away.
There was the potential for many funny situations but they missed the mark. They could have been hilarious. I was expecting much more humor, instead it was more "oh poor sad whiny me".

Naive is an understatement, to describe Emma. It bordered on a lack of common sense. Her blogs were awful at first, granted the author might have done that to show how "green" she was but still. It didn't get better enough to make this book worthwhile.

Is this supposed to be "current" because somethings seemed like they wouldn't happen in 2015- like getting a passport at an office the week you plan to leave. There were many other examples, too.

Emma is 29 but acted at least 10 years younger. I didn't like her voice-- she's judgmental and silly. Her rationale is off-base. The author tries too hard to have this seem "hip" and cute.

I did not finish this book at 30%. I had to force myself to read that far.

Thank you, Net Galley, for providing me a copy for review copy in exchange for
an honest review.
