Wild Love by Elsie Silver

I’m a sucker for stories where the MMC has been longing for the FMC for ages, and I also enjoy best friend’s sister romances when they’re done well. These elements really worked for me in this book.
Ford was a hot guy with an awkward side, which I found endearing. I also enjoyed the frenemy dynamic between Rosie and Ford, and the steamy scenes were excellent. Plus, the 12-year-old character, who didn’t read like a child, stole the show at times.
That said, the conversation about privilege and wealth was lackluster. Honestly, a 32-year-old billionaire suddenly realizing he has privilege isn’t particularly appealing, which is why I don’t usually read billionaire romances. Additionally, the story dragged a bit—I started feeling like the book needed to wrap up, only to realize I still had 70 pages to go.
Despite these flaws, I felt invested in the story and enjoyed the reading experience.
