I really wish they allowed half-stars., because I'd go up to 3.5. Have you ever read a book and really enjoyed it until the last 20 percent or so? That's the case here. It was gong really well until an unnecessary twist and an over-the-top poor ending. I may give book 2 a try, but if it's more of the same, no way I'm going through all 12.
