After reading Beating Heart by Laura from the Magnolia Falls series, I began impatiently waiting for the Chadwick brother's series. And when I finally got my hands on the Steal My Heart it didn't disappoint!
Henley & Easton had chemistry from the first page. Easton is a total grump, but is giving the "I hate you, but only because I'm frustrated with my bedroom activities and want you to be apart of them" vibes. But these two kept it professional until they didn't. Henley sees right through it! Between fighting cases in the courtroom together and playing teams on the pickle ball court the chemistry builds between these to and it gets steamy.
Not only was Henley & Easton's love story beautiful, it really shed a light of someone struggling with anxiety, and made this that much more relatable. As someone who struggles with anxiety everyday, I appreciated the way Laura handled this subject. Easton's struggle with PTSD from losing the love of his life, and the anxiety of always thinking he was going to lose the new love of his life was so real.
10/10 recommend this book to anyone looking for a good workplace romance. I enjoyed this story so much. And if you ask me there were sooooo many easter eggs dropped on what is to come for this series, and I CANNOT wait to see where it goes.
