I’m reeling, is the best way to put it. 😂 I absolutely adored this book. Robyn (the FMC) was super confident in a lot of ways, but she had some vulnerabilities as well. And so did Isaiah and Dell! I feel like they all balanced each other out and encouraged each other in such a beautiful way. It was lovely to see their relationship blossom with every page. One other aspect I really enjoyed was how safe they made each other. Safe to be vulnerable and honest at all times and to be able to fall back on each other. And to just be.
And of course… the spice was poppin! 💃🏼😂 But again, there was also a very sweet element of safety at all times. It was just wonderful. I cried. I giggled and twirled my hair. I fanned myself (several times). I did all the things.
Thank you to Sloan Spencer and Happily Booked PR for giving me a copy of this arc! 🥰
(don’t read the last 90-some % of this book while listening to This Is What Dreams Are Made Of by Hilary Duff… or do. If you’re not as sappy as me you should be fine.)
