I’m truly so sad to be saying goodbye to this series after almost 2 years. This last little piece of the world of Daevabad was such a wonderful note to end on. Especially Zaynab’s story, seeing her get the freedom to explore who she is outside of the role of political woman was so lovely. And of course, Nahri and Ali’s story. I do think theirs will be a happy one.
This is the best adult fantasy I’ve ever read. Truly. Chakraborty is a literary genius, I can’t wait for what comes next from her.
