POPSUGAR READING CHALLENGE #22: A book about video games
This was so goooooooood....up until the last 10%. I have very.... mixed feelings about this book. It was a bit too long, a bit too spicy (I know how could this be possible? yall there was a spice scene like every chapter and it was starting to overshadow the plot skskks) There was also a 3rd act breakup....and i just ughhhhhhhhhhhh. But then the writing, the flow of the story...it was all really well put together. I 'technically' also liked both MCs up until the last 10%.
I LOVED Jacob, he was so great and I loved how open they were with each other and how they communicated– that was so well written. However Gen....Gen really irritated me BADDDDDD. I understand why she viewed herself that way and why she was acting the way she was, but I'm not sure if the author just waited too long to tell us the full story of WHY Gen was the way she was (literally 96% into the book
