Never Tell a Lie by Hallie Ephron
5.0
Hallie Ephron is the author of the series Dr Peter Zak, which is written under [a:G.H. Ephron|157206|G.H. Ephron|http://www.goodreads.com/images/nophoto/nophoto-U-50x66.jpg] is her solo writing and it is a psyhological thriller. Ivy and David have been married three years and are expecting their first child. As she nears the end of the pregnacy she gets the nesting instinct and holds a garage sale. The house they bought is very old and has all the remains of the previous tenants. An old aquaintance from high school stops by and chats Ivy up and convinces David to give her a tour of the house. Afterwards she is never seen again. From the beginning Ephron takes her slow time setting the pace of this story which just makes you read faster. Based on crimes that have happened in the news, I had a few thoughts on where this story would go, one thought stayed with me until the end of the book, even though the ending was different that was I was thinking.
