Salutis meae = my salvation
Have I cried to a JS book before? No idea but I did cry with this one. Especially, in the last 10% or so. Big fat tears, y'all.
Salutis Meae released back on January 6 because I got behind on another ARC I was reading and went on low reading mode for whatever reason. When that happens I know I'll be going into a reading slump. What a great way to start the year, huh?
Lucas and Savannah are polar opposites. Savannah is your typical Californian white girl with rich parents. Lucas is your typical opposite side of tracks Latinx boy with gang affiliations. He's left all that behind. Luca now attends college and has the cutest little girl.
Savannah and Lucas start off with a rocky relationship. They didn't like each other for being polar opposites who didn't quite understand the other side of the tracks. Savannah made it well known to him that she didn't like him and vice versa. But they did begun to open up with each other. Lucas' little girl, Mia, was very welcoming on Savannah (Mia always stoled the show).
Between through rocks at each other, there were also hearts.
