Beautiful Villain by Rebecca F. Kenney
5.0
This was nothing short of fantastic. Great Gatsby, but make it vampires and give it a little bit of Twilight mystery for the FMC to figure it out. I loved this so much. The Great Gatsby has always been a favorite classic of mine, and this was just such a fun twist on that story.
Daisy is miserable after breaking it off with her cheating ex. Her friend Jordan and cousin Nick are doing their best to get her back out in society, but Daisy just wants to be alone. Until she sees him. Could it be? Her Jay? Lavish parties and mysterious happenings are going on at this fellow Gatsby's house, and Daisy is desperate to find out if it's really the Jay from her childhood.
Mysterious and compelling, this was such a fun and creative way to do Gatsby, with its own original elements sprinkled all the way through.
