History Is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera

4.0

This was my least favorite of Adam Silvera’s books, but I still saw the value in it. Reading the first person narrative of someone with OCD grieving their first love at seventeen was so painful, but I think that was the point. This was a messy story of grief and processing and love and growing up. I’m glad I read it, but I’m glad it’s over because it didn’t make me feel very good to read, even though we did get to see Griffin find some peace in the end. The Libby copy also put a space after every F letter…and that hurt my eyes lol.
