This book was everything I was hoping for. Kristen Hannah is such a talented author. The writing style and her ability for the reader to get completely lost and invested in the characters is unbelievable. This book was heartbreaking, adventurous, delt with issues of abuse, and ideas of courage and hope. I'm definitely going to reread this book again, why not, it takes place in Alaska-The Great Alone.
