It’s criminal that I waited this long to read this book because I ABSOLUTELY loved Luke and Emmy! And as a debut book for Lyla Sage, nobody would believe it, it was that good! I love a good cowboy romance and this one is honestly one of the best! We love a reformed bad boy here, specially when they are called Luke Brooks. 

 

I loved how obsessed Luke is with Emmy and how patient he is with her. My heart was just melting throughout the entire book all thanks to Luke Brooks. I don’t know what I liked more if Luke and Emmy, Luke and Gus’s bromance or the entire Ryder family. Found family is honestly an under hyped trope and is quickly becoming one of my favourites! I love a book with green flags and this definitely had them all. A great debut novel by Lyla Sage and I can’t wait to read Swift and Saddled!
