Oklahoma Sky by Bennett Rhodes is book one in the Beckett Family series. This is her debut novel and she did a fantastic job. If you like a cinnamon roll MMC, he falls first, childhood friends, found family, forced proximity, small town romance then you will love this book. 

Bennett did such a great job with this storyline and plot. I thought the characters were done so well. This was a quick read and had some parts that were heavy. Cal, is so sweet, patient, kind, and will do anything to protect Lucy. Lucy has a big heart, I love that we get to watch go from trying to escape her past to facing it. We watch her become a strong woman, who stands up for herself. We get to each Lucy and Cal go from friends to falling in love, to being in a relationship and becoming family.
