giggling and kicking my feet bc of all the jealousy in this book!! đź¤
lauren asher books are always such a good time. she always mixes a lighthearted romance in with deeper, more gut-wrenching topics that are guaranteed to hit you in your feels. you can laugh, cry, and swoon within her books, and I’m a total fan of that!!!
rafe and ellie are so cute. the jealousy, “unrequited” love, and tension had me eating this book up!! it was so fun, and I loved all the little things that made their love so wonderful. while rafe can be moody and arrogant, he is hiding an incredibly tender heart that beats for only for his son and ellie.
I do think this story wrapped up a little too quickly, which definitely affected my rating. I was left wanting more, but that’s not to say I wasn’t satisfied by the ending. their story was cute, but I could have read even more!
