"I didn't realize falling in love could be so simple. Bacon in a takeout container and earplugs in the bottom of a handbag."

This book is the definition of romance, and I will not be taking questions on this. When I was reading this, it felt like I being bear-hugged in the sunshine. As someone who really hasn't been a big fan of small town romances, this series really decided to be like "hey bish, you haven't read us yet"...

Beckett. Porter. I don't even know where to begin with him. He's the literal definition of selfless, and is always giving himself over to other people. He's a grumpy farmer with tattoos that were done by his little sister, that adopted 4 cats and a duck (even tho he says he didn't adopt the duck)... and this man can also pull my hair any time he wants. He's everything AND some. Beckett is literally the the epitome of a man written by a woman and I can't get over it. I want to climb him like a koala bear, and bite his shoulders. Weird? maybe. But I'm not sorry...

I also loved Evie, even though I just wanted to shake her multiple times and scream in her face saying, "HEY YOU!! HE IS MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOUUUUU" but all the best romance books make you want to do just that. I loved that Evie went back to Inglewild to find her happy, and she did just that ;) I also LOVED that Evie learned that it's okay to change and pivot, especially when it comes to careers!! It's such an important reminder for all of us.

ALSO... ALL THE SMALL BUSINESS LOVE IN THIS SERIES MAKES MY OWN SMALL BUSINESS HEART HAPPY
