It was the first Greek mythology retelling I have read and I think I found a new obsession. I wanted to devour this book, I wanted to continue reading but I also wanted to take my time with it. I didn't want this story to end.
Circe was such a great character. I loved following her journey (even though it was heartbreaking at times) and seeing her grow into a powerful witch.
Miller's writing style is absolutely beautiful and captivating. The book felt like a collection of short stories and I absolutely had a blast reading about the different stages of Circe's life.
The ending was very beautiful and made me feel all fuzzy and warm inside. It just felt right.
A copy of Circe is lying on a light beige sheet. On the left side of it is some veil herb. On the right side a white rock crystal. In the upper half is a beige woven plate, on it some very delicate star-shaped fairylights.
