Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi

4.0

I don’t know why I took so long to start this series. I was so afraid that it would devour my life and take over all of my time based on everyone’s ravings. But, while this book was good and I want to read the rest in the series, I’m not like blown away or anything. It’s good. There’s some things I don’t like a bunch (like the nearly immediate “I love you’s” after barely any time interacting with each other), but it’s alright.

As far as dystopians go, I’ve read more heart-wrenching and emotion-stirring ones, but if you’re looking for a dystopian without all of the feels, you might want to try this book.
