Hooked on You by Nikki Ash

4.0

Nikki is one of my go to authors. She always writes a really good swoony romance and Hooked On You will hook you in!

I was excited to read about Ryder after meeting him in Drunk On You. I loved his friendship with Ana and Julian and just knew he was a super sweet/good guy! He did not disappoint in his book.

We see the back story as to why Ryder is a single dad and we see that he is so much better without Nora (she was/is awful!). Ryder would do anything for his little girl Addie. She is whole world so of course when he meets the new child care employee at Kingston Industustries he is hesitant about leaving her with a stranger but he quickly sees that Kira is a good person and truly loves the kids in her care.

Kira finds herself in the small Texas town due to getting out of a bad relationship. Kira and her daughter Violet stumble upon Ana at a park who ends up interviewing and hiring Kira to work at the child care at her company. What Kira didn’t expect was for the handsome man whose name is Ryder to find her and daughter sleeping out of her car on work property.

Man I loved Kira and Ryder together and their girls Addie and Violet. Violet with Addie was just so sweet and she treated her like a sibling and it was adorable to watch those moments. Kira and Ryder had all the chemistry and I really enjoyed how their relationship started as a friendship and just grew organically from there. The way Ryder fell for not only Kira but her daughter Violet as well was everything I love to see in a single parent book!

Thank you Nikki for the arc of this book and I can’t wait for the next one in the series.
