Wow! Wow! Wow! What a fantastic psychological thriller! If you only read one suspense novel this year, this is the one to read.

Layla disappeared 12 years ago. Finn, her boyfriend withheld important facts from the police. Finn is now engaged to Layla's sister, Ellen. Clues and evidence allude to the fact that Layla may still be alive after all these years. Finn has never stopped loving her but what will he tell Ellen, who he doesn't want to hurt?

This book captivated my attention from the very first page. I simply could not put it down. B.A. Paris is brilliant at building suspense and using plot twists. The characters have depth, raw emotion and you are invested in each one of them. I couldn't decide between Layla and Ellen because my heart broke for each of them. Finn had a dark side but I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Bravo to the author for the fantastic writing! My heart was racing until the very end.
