Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
3.0
“All I ever wanted was to reach out and touch another human being not just with my hands but with my heart.”
I enjoyed reading this, but I still felt very underwhelmed at the end.
Shatter Me has been sitting on my TBR for a while now, and after reading a lot of good reviews about it, I decided to cave in. I enjoyed the writing style of this book, especially with how Tahereh Mafi was able to describe the world-building and how she conveyed Juliette's feelings and anxieties where it almost felt tangible. However, there are still a lot of instances where I felt like this was more of a romance than a dystopian book.
