This was extremely good on deepening an understanding of Jane Eyre, Wuthering Heights and Villette. and quite an enjoyable and easy read given the length. I have to admit to skimming when the author got in the weeds about church poltics. IMHO best and most important part was the part about the trip to Brussels and monsieur heger
