Man, I thought this one was so much fun. It wasn't what I expected at all. I went into it thinking it was going to be a haunted house story but was surprised by the direction it went. It could almost be a prequel to All Hail the House Gods, which I also loved. I can definitely see myself reading those together as a sort of double feature in the future. 

This was perfect for a quick weekend read.
