As an adoptee, this book is just not it. It downplays the trauma involved in adoption for all parties. Turns out the author is an adoptive mom, which explains why everything was portrayed with adoption being a magical solution that makes everyone happy and the adoptive parents being the saviors. Ugh.
Graphic: Abandonment
Moderate: Child abuse
Minor: Abortion
