How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn
4.0
Thank you to @meghanquinnbooks and @hambright_pr for sending me this e-arc. All thoughts are my own.
I love a good Meghan Quinn novel. Her writing is always so lighthearted and fun and always makes me smile, and that is exactly what happened here. This is a great Christmas romcom that would make the perfect addition to your holiday TBR. This book has a fun mix of humor and just the right amount of spice to not be too overbearing. I always appreciate how the author does such a good job of taking some heavy topics and making them feel relatable but not too dark and overbearing. I liked the pacing because it was just right and the relationship between Cole and Storee played out in such a believable way. It felt like their relationship was natural and not forced at all and I appreciated that. They dynamic of friends to rivals to lovers was perfect as was the grumpy / sunshine aspect, their chemistry was just fantastic.
This book has an extra special treat of having a Christmas poem as the header to each chapter, and it alternates points of view. Both of these things just added to my enjoyment of this book.
If you’re looking for a fun Christmas read, then check this one out.
