my best friend recommended sally rooney to me and i was hesitant at first because im usually more of a fantasy person. BUT everyone in the world needs to read this book i have so many quotes saved. the way sally rooney writes is so complex and interesting that she can turn normal interactions into heartbreaking and beautiful experiences.  however i will definitely be talking about this book in therapy. 

how can they just??? let each other go after everything thwy were finally happy and she tells him to leave?? i wish thwy would let themselves be happy with each other but the truth is neither of them will ever be able to move on because they are engraved in each others souls.
