As I entered my review for Crank, I realized this was a trilogy, so I had to read it next! This book picks up where we left off at the end of Crank. It doesn’t have as much poetry flow as Crank, but it still has a little. The narrator for this book is so good at portraying the main character and her struggles. This story is more bleak as the monster grips tighter and tighter to Kristina’s willpower. We start to see how meth has a ripple effect on not just the user but their friends and families as well. It’s pretty fucking tragic.
