The Raven King by Maggie Stiefvater

5.0

I don't think I really have words to express the enormity of my feelings about this book and this series. Not since Harry Potter have I felt so deeply invested in a fictional world and its characters. Throughout each, I remained shocked at the quality of Stiefvater's prose and her ability to imbue her characters with such vitality and utter realness. Their complexity and their completeness made this story what it was, and I believe that is the true success of this series. Though the magic is incredible and the fantasy aspect a unique one, it's the amazing cast of characters and their relationships - Ronan, Adam, Blue, Gansey, etc. - that have me feeling so attached. I already can't wait to reread.
