This was my first book by this author and now I want to read the rest of her backlist! I enjoyed this slow burn romance.
Through alternating timelines of present day to back to 13 years ago follow along Piper and Kyle while they navigate first and young love. Meeting at a summer camp Piper and Kyle quickly fall for one another during the most amazing summer of their lives. Their whirlwind teenage romance comes to an end at the end of summer causing a heartbreak without any closure that’s never been experienced before. Fast forward 13 years later and fate has these once young lovers crossing paths again.
You never forget your first love and what you went through trying to move past it.
I really flew through the second half much easier than the first - there was a lot of buildup with the alternating timelines.
