I read this series out of order, but I still love it. Cyrus and Evie are quite the pair and I enjoyed them in this 3rd book of the series, Cyrus Haven. All the books in this series are a lot of fun. This is an engaging read and I really enjoyed it. I do think that these books work as standalones, so it’s okay if you do that, or read them out of order. This book was interesting in that Cyrus is dealing with some personal things while also working. Ha, I know that struggle all to real. Cyrus’s brother who was remanded for 20 years is being released and Cyrus isn’t sure if it’s to him. Then the police need his help. It’s always something and someone needing his help. Of course the balance that it takes to do so it quite the feat but Cyrus pulls it off with ease. The relationship between Cyrus and Evie only grows, and it really is a heartwarming relationship and one that I have enjoyed watching unfold.
