Red Flags & Tuesdays by Nordika Night

5.0

This was such an excellent story, I was so blown away!

Reid and Atticus start their story locked in a coat closet getting and end up getting drunk off tequila. So starts Reid’s bi-awakening, or really his ‘Atticus-awakening’, and their Tuesday one night and Atticus’ snarly walk of shame.

These two are adorable. Reid is so smitten with Atticus even though he is putting off every warning and DO NOT ENTER sign in existence. He eventually wears Atticus down and despite his constant contradictions and hypocritical remarks he learns his love language and sneaks through a minuscule crack in Atticus’ wall.

Atticus may be the most fascinating character I’ve ever read. He is so prickly and standoffish but it is absolutely a defense mechanism with Reid and he tells him as such. But luckily for Atticus, Reid is not easily scared off. He is such a complicated character and he really needed someone like Reid. They are a great pair.

There are quite a few revelations in this book and not everything is as it seems at the beginning.

What really threw this into 5 star territory for me was when Atticus went radio silent and Reid tracked him down. I’m already a sucker for banter and everything else I mentioned above, but this made it a no brainer for me. I’m going to keep this spoiler free so I won’t say anything else.

This is a the start of a great new series from Nordika, do yourself a favor and pick this up!
