This book goes straight to my lists Best of 2024 and Best of Ever! It's a cozy, comfort, funny, and cute read that had me going "aww" and cackling and giggling throughout. I love the world Ursa Dax has created to the point where I am in great need of transport to the cowboy colony xD I fell in love with Cherry and Silar and will miss them - that's how good their characters are written. Watching them learn to communicate and read each other was hilarious and heartwarming, and when they got intimate it was so, so good (with a cherry on top :P )!
"I'd given up all pretense about pretending I wasn't spying now, but hey, a girl needed to know what she was in for! My husband was packing what could easily be considered a murder weapon in most galactic jurisdictions, and I figured it was just plain irresponsible not to try to get a better look now."
Don't be irresponsible - read this book ;)
