I really do love the sookie stackhouse series, it's one of my favourite book series out there. It's not without its flaws, but overall I really enjoy them and the whole world that has been created. This is the second or third time I've re read them and I always try and give myself a good long break between so I can still be relatively surprised when reading them again. I'm gonna miss them. I know some people aren't happy about Sookie ending up with Sam, but I think it's good for her. It was hinted at in the very beginning in the first book that they liked eachother that way. And as its goes for male characters, Sam is the nicest and Sookie can actually have a future with him. I'd honestly love like a sequal series or even just a standalone book where we could see where they are now.
